Cameron Karting takes pride in offering you the best engine services and performance your money can buy plus we have the most complete kart engine building facility and machine shop at the track. Cameron Karting also does custom engineering, design and fabrication. We service ROTAX, Parilla, Honda and TM engines.
Cameron Karting has real racing world experience with kart racing engines as our engines have put drivers on the podium at both club and national level events. Cameron Karting has on staff, Brett Buckwalter, a multiple national champion in both 4-cylce and 2-cycle kart racing. Brett has years of engine building and tuning experience. Brett will give your ICA, ICC or TaG engine the proper attention it needs, whether you want to find more power or for a simple rebuild. Cameron Karting engine rebuilds include:
What We Do:
- Clean outside, disassemble, and clean all internal parts
- Remove old main bearings and press crank apart
- Measure and inspect rod journals for roundness
- Measure rod and replace if needed
- Reassemble crank and true it
- Install new main bearings
- Assemble bottom end with new seals and gaskets (if applicable)
- Hone Cylinder and Install new top end kit with new gaskets
- Install new reeds if needed
- Check CC's and squish and adjust as needed
- Pressure check for leaks
- Adjust carburetor to Cameron Karting specs
- Install new gasket and diaphragm
- Adjust pop off pressure
